Hi James. Hope all is well with you. I don’t know if you remember or not, but when you were building our BEAUTIFUL tiki hut, my mother was about to move in with us after suffering a stroke in Maryland. After that, we devoted all of our time to her since she was incapable of caring for herself until she passed at Thanksgiving. I still have not really returned to the computer. I’d rather spend my time in our tiki hut. Our hut has been more than just a hut. We’ve sought refuge in it on during our sad journey with mom, destressed in it, grieved in it, comforted family in it, partied in it, and shared it with everyone we know. It was one of the best investments we’ve ever made!! It’s the tiki hut that keeps the doctor away, NOT the apple. LOL Joe and I would love for you to stop by sometime. Everyone knows if the gate is open, then the hut is open to all. Again, I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful job you did. You and everyone we met at Big Kahuna were awesome!!!! Take care, Mary

I am compelled to write about your AMAZING TEAM from the Framers: (James and others); Thatchers (Big John/Little John) and Bar Designer/Builders; (Robert and Mike). All aim to please, with a smile, no matter what adversity they are faced with along the way. Nothing stopped them from producing an outstanding product with exceptional detail!! Everyone of them wanted us to have exactly what we ordered and then some.
Do you recruit your talent with “EXCELLENT” customer service skills as a requirement or do your train in “EXCELLENT” customer service skills? Whatever it is, don’t change it; the menu has been perfected!
The Thatchers (Big John/Little John) are PARAMOUNT; a cut above the rest!! These two men worked endless hours into the night; during the never ending days of rain and thunderstorms. One evening we stopped them because of our concern for them; both insisted on continuing. This went on for days, the storms never let up nor did they. They both shown tenacity while providing us the an exceptional finished product during immense diversity. These two guys are an OUTSTANDING TEAM and PRODUCERS. They weren’t happy if we weren’t happy; they would not give up until the final piece of palm frond was perfectly placed; what attention to detail they both posses.
Being from New England and moving to So. Florida (12 years ago) I can attest to NEVER having encountered such “EXCELLENT” customer service, in So. Florida, as we did from Big John and Little John; I truly felt like I was back home and Big John and Little John were part of the family.
Kudos to you Scott for having Big John and Little John as Team Members of Big Kahuna Tiki Huts.

Wanted to thank everyone for the great job they did on our tiki bar, it turned out fantastic. The scheduling was on on-time, the work was excellent quality, and the sales job from Steve started the ball rolling. Wanted to pay particular appreciation to Robert for the bar work, it has been the talk of the neighborhood, the kids use it every afternoon for homework, and it’s an awesome place to watch football on the weekends. In addition, the improvised interior doors he came up with came out better than expected. I have attached a few pictures.

I wanted to let you know the guys did a great job, were very nice and we really, really love the work. The guys had a tough job, as they had to haul palms a little distance to the hut; it was about 20 mph winds and it is on the water; and the crew were very careful with the all the lights that were strung underneath the hut and the fan.
