Big Kahuna Tiki Huts completed a project for a client in Ocala FL on a horse farm. We built a 27 foot hexagonal tiki hut with cupola. We had our carvers hand-carve cypress wood to look like bamboo. We installed a flared cypress stump coming down from the center of the tiki hut in which our clients had a ceiling fan installed.
A custom 27 foot hexagonal deck was built under the tiki hut with an awesome design on the floor. Also a 25 1/2 foot tiki bar was built with hand-carved tiki gods and custom built levelored door cabinets. Special lightning was installed to highlight the tiki gods and the thatched roof.
Big Kahuna Tiki Huts built a triangler tiki hut for a client in Palm Harbor FL. It was 18 feet across and 12 feet on the sides. Instead of using regular cypress wood posts our carvers hand-carved the cypress wood to look like bamboo.
Big Kahuna Tiki Huts had the pleasure of building a tiki hut and tiki bar for Otis Smith, the General Manager of the Orlando Magic Basketball Team. The tiki hut and bar were built in his backyard by his lovely pool. The addition of the tiki hut and bar turned his backyard into a tropical oasis.
As soon as we completed his project a party was going on in the tiki bar!
In Cape Coral FL we built a tiki bar with a tiki hut over top of it. The tiki hut was built using cypress wood and thatched with fresh cut Florida palm fronds. Under the tiki hut we built a tiki bar using bamboo and half-round cypress with a cypress footrest.
The tiki bar was built big enough to accommodate many party people!!!
How awesome, we built a tiki hut for a water slide down in Ft Lauderdale, FL. We built the structure on the ground and then used a crane to haul the tiki hut to the top of the waterslide. Once it was placed there then our crew thatched the top with palm fronds.
By the time our crews finished this job they sure did wish the waterslide was filled with water!
Big Kahuna Tiki Huts latest project was for a Client in Naples, FL. We built an authentic 20 foot in diameter tiki hut with 5 foot thatched cupola. We used hand selected Florida native cypress poles. The solid cypress poles have been hewn to a smooth blonde finish. The thatched roof is made from fresh cut Florida palm fronds.
