Big Kahuna Tiki Huts completed a project for a client in Jupiter FL. We built a custom 14 foot x 10 foot tiki hut. We also built a tiki hut awning coming off their back sliding glass doors and a custom built tiki bar with hand carved bamboo-style cypress wood posts.

Big Kahuna Tiki Huts did a rethatch on a customer’s pre-existing tiki hut located directly on the beach.
Our crews have to remove the old palm fronds, haul away the palm frond debris, and rethatch the tiki hut with fresh cut palm fronds.

Big Kahuna Tiki Huts had the pleasure of building a tiki hut and tiki bar for Otis Smith, the General Manager of the Orlando Magic Basketball Team. The tiki hut and bar were built in his backyard by his lovely pool. The addition of the tiki hut and bar turned his backyard into a tropical oasis.
As soon as we completed his project a party was going on in the tiki bar!

Big Kahuna Tiki Huts is currently working on a project for a client in St. James City FL. We just finished the 42 foot x 25 foot structure made out of cypress wood. The next phase will be the thatching of the tiki hut with fresh cut Florida palm fronds.
We will also be custom building a 39 foot tiki bar with built in tiki gods.

Big Kahuna Tiki Huts was hired by Brevard Community College in Cocoa FL to rethatch their four pre-existing tiki huts. The huts are located on Clear Lake behind the Roger W. Dobson Building (Bldg. 13). There are four tiki huts located in this area. The largest hut was a 31 foot x 30 foot and there were three other huts 22 foot x 13 foot each.
Students can enjoy being outdoor year around while finding shade under the huts or shelter from the rain. It is also a nice gathering place to relax, socialize, or study.
Our crew of thatchers began their work in early August. First they had to strip all the old palm fronds off each of the tiki huts in preparation for the new thatching. The old palms are individually removed and hauled away. Once the huts are stripped of their old palms, they are ready to be thatched with fresh cut Florida palm fronds. Each new palm frond is individually attached to the structure of the tiki hut.

We recently did a project for a client in which we built a four post tiki hut made of cypress and thatched with Florida palm fronds.
Also we built a custom tiki bar with bamboo front and hand-carved tiki gods built into tiki bar.

We did some work for a client in Miami Florida on their tiki hut with a cupola. We also installed a net on the tiki hut as well as the cupola to protect the palm fronds from the winds that come off the Intercoastal Waters to prolong the longevity of the palm fronds.

The Community School of Naples, Florida hired us to rethatch their pre-existing 34 foot x 18 foot tiki hut with fresh cut Florida palm fronds. This process required our crews removing the old palm fronds, hauling away of the palm frond debris, and then rethatching the tiki hut.

We recently completed a project for the Jungle Golf in Ft Myers, Florida. Their hired us to rethatch their pre-existing tiki huts.
Our crews worked to rethatch a 9 foot round, 12 foot round, 13 foot round, and two 22 foot round tiki huts with fresh cut Florida palm fronds.

In Cape Coral FL we built a tiki bar with a tiki hut over top of it. The tiki hut was built using cypress wood and thatched with fresh cut Florida palm fronds. Under the tiki hut we built a tiki bar using bamboo and half-round cypress with a cypress footrest.
The tiki bar was built big enough to accommodate many party people!!!
